Anika Rose, born in the year 2000 is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known character is Tiana the first Disney African American princess. She was recognized as one of the Disney Legend. Rose starred as Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born September 6 1972) is an American performer and actress. She is best known for voicing Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as she appeared in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. Her other notable roles include her role in the lead role of Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls (2006) and also for playing LaVerne Jukebox Ganner in the Starz show Power. The actress has also received recognition by her stage performances including her leading roles as Caroline or Change Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway for which her Tony Award was won for Best Actress in Musical.
